(LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, February 24, 2020) - The list of essential services in the United States maintained by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has been updated to include real estate as an essential service. However, local and state guidelines in California, and elsewhere, continue to require extraordinary protocols to combat the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
REX is complying with Federal, state and local crisis mandates related to COVID-19 and instructing field teams and client-facing staff to follow all health mandates published by the CDC. This includes:
Open houses are subject to local city or county health guidelines in place to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Virtual tours are continuing to be made available to homebuyers nationwide.
Full-service real estate transactions at REX continue to take place in the cloud.
Learn more about REX’s efforts to connect real estate buyers and sellers online. REX’s full-service platform helps consumers save money on both sides of a real estate transaction by reducing commissions to as low as 2% as opposed to the typical 5 to 6% fees hauled in by traditional brokers.
